D Frag is one of the best amusing High School day to day Comedy show. Each episode keeps you hooked on until the end of the season. It’s based on a manga which is written by Tomoya Haruno and a total of 14 volumes released till now.
When D Frag was released on January 6, 2014, it was loved by everyone who watched the full season. Story of Kenji Kazama and their Game Creation Club was full of fun-packed drama. Female characters never let you feel bored.
D Frag first episode aired on January 6, 2014 and last one on March 24, 2014. A few months later special OVA episode was released on September 23, 2014. All Total 13 episodes aired during 2014 which concludes that season.
Now Fans started to expect D Frag season 2 announcement will come soon. But it’s been 5+ years and nobody knows what happened with season 2:
D Frag! Season 2 Release Date:
D Frag is popularly known for its teen school comedy. One of the most iconic scenes, which nobody forgets when Kazama and other school members played game to win Roka’s mask bag. During the game, Takao tracksuit zipper breaks and hits Kazama.
When D Frag season was released it got loved by many fans but due to some poor promotion or less awareness, it never got many watch audiences. Even today, it’s one of the underrated shows. Due to these facts, it was not renewed for season 2.
But there is still hope it will come back with season 2. The Manga from where D Frag was made is still getting published and fans are giving it lots of love. That means publishers got plenty of stories that they can cover in season 2.
Given the success of manga and it’s a vast story, there is a chance that D Frag season 2 will be released soon and fans can expect it by 2021.
D Frag! Season 2 Plot:
When Kazama finally joined the Game Creation Club it started to get comfortable for everyone to get along with each other. After the incident of the school festival day, Roka and Takao patched up their differences and again became good friends.
Then some new characters introduced like Funabori classmate of Kazama who is just too good to be true and a few more. Takao was almost all the time hanging out in Roka’s game creation club.
Both Takao and Roka started to have a big crush over Kazama which made a bit of Funny rivalry between both of them. To impress Kazama into liking her, Takao tries to be super nice with Kazama’s sister but things backfire.
Before ending of first season one last time Kazama is again kidnapped by Tama Sakai to lure Chitose current student council to her. Tama is also one of the friends of Chitose with a lot of complicated differences. After they settle everything by playing the game both of their differences get resolved.
D Frag season 2 plot can continue from where it left in the first season. A lot of new members joined the game creation club after Kazama. Everyday characters comedy events still going on because that’s the soul of show.
Takao and Roka are still going on with their rivalry for Kazama. Takao might confess her feeling to Kazama and they both start dating. To add some comedy in that Roka trying to sabotage their relationship.
If there’s going to be a season 2 for D Frag then expect endless possibilities that can happen which can make the story more entertaining. But these are just predictions that are made for D Frag and nobody knows what happens in season 2.
D Frag! Season 2 Characters:
If D Frag season 2 is coming then you can expect all main characters. Other than that many new characters are possible to be introduced.
Kenji Kazama: Kenji is the main male protagonist and only male member of the game club. He is also one of the new students who joined Fujou Academy in the new semester. Kenji looks all tough and manly but deep inside he cares about everyone’s feelings. Being not good with understanding girls’ feelings due to which he’s got no clue about Roka and Takao feelings towards him.
Roka Shibasaki: Roka is the Club President and one of the main female protagonists. She is known for her cute kid like attitude but sometimes her looks get all deadly. Roka is a bit unique with her imagination and game creation skills. In times of need, her skills of manipulation can get handy. She likes Kazama due to his direct and honest attitude.
Takao: Takao is also one of the main Female protagonists and Club President of the real game club. She is popular among students for her front big jugs. Due to her gorgeous looks and curvy body, everyone in High School feels jealous. She is a very soft heart and can’t hurt anyone. She has a crush on Kazama too after just like Roka.
Chitose Karasuyama: Chitose is one of the best friends of Roka and President of the student council. She is a wild fearless fighter and everyone in the school obeys her orders. Chitose cares deeply for Roka’s feelings and supports her every time. Her comic timings and funny attitude really cheer up each episode.
Sakura Mizukami: Sakura is good friends with Roka, Chitose, and one of 3rd members of the game club. She loves to throw water during fights and is obsessed with water attacks. Sakura loves to spend her time in game club along with her friends.
Is D Frag! season 2 coming anytime soon?
There is no news yet from publishers or anyone for D Frag season 2 but interesting things to consider are that manga for D Frag is still going on and getting published each year.
Seeing the fact that manga is consistently getting published, there is a chance you can expect for season 2. They have a ton of new stories to add from the manga if publishers decide to make season 2 soon.
