Watch Dogs Ranked according to user ratings:
03. Watch Dogs Legion
Why this Ranking:
The plot is bit predictable in the game. You can figure out who was behind the attacks even before the big announcement. It’s not a horrible plot, but it’s too identical to the second part of the game. The missions are all essentially the same. You must travel to a location, hack your way into a building, and solve the same challenge as in previous missions.
But there are a few good advantages to the game than previous parts, the new feature such as multiple playable characters and the improved graphics of map and characters.
Plot:
Sabine Brandt and her freshly developed AI, Bagley, lead the London section of DedSec, which detects armed attackers laying bombs in the Houses of Parliament. Dalton Wolfe, a DedSec officer, arrives to detonate the devices and finds that the invaders are members of a renegade hacking gang known as “Zero Day.”
Although Dalton succeeds in preventing the destruction of Parliament, he is assassinated by drones controlled by Zero Day’s boss, who detonates further bombs across London and orders an attack on DedSec’s hideaway, prompting Sabine to shut down Bagley and flee.
DedSec investigates the bombings and discovers that both Albion’s CEO Nigel Cass and Clan Kelley were involved, and are taking advantage of London’s current situation for their own ends; Clan Kelley is using people from Albion’s deportation centres for their human and organ trafficking operations, while Cass plans to enforce peace across London with an automated drone army named Project Themis that can identify and neutralise threats before they become a problem.
While DedSec is celebrating their accomplishments, Zero Day hacks the group and steals the technology they’ve gained. They realise Sabine was behind the attacks and Zero Day after tracing the hack. As a result, Sabine relaunched DedSec only to exact vengeance on Cass, reclaim what he had taken, and locate additional components she need. Sabine confronts them, but the operator lowers the fins of the tower, sending her plummeting to her death. Meanwhile, at Broca Tech, another operator takes down Bagley’s principal server, putting an end to the issue.
While the British government examines its contract with Albion and local law enforcement works to restart operations, DedSec is eventually cleared of all charges and hailed for revealing significant crimes and corruption across London.
02. Watch Dogs
Why this Ranking:
Watch Dogs is a best-selling game because it was a new type of game with unique gameplay mechanics that was presented to the public. If you look at the game from broader perspective, it kind of looks weird. If you think about game carefully, all problems indicates towards plot.
Aiden isn’t a terribly interesting protagonist. The animation of Aiden and the other cast members is the only flaw in the game. The animation of the outfits and bodies is sluggish, and the character expressions are unconvincing.
Plot:
In the game, we take on the role of Aiden Pearce, a vigilante with the unique capacity to hack into numerous electrical equipment connected to the city’s central operating system, the CTOS, using his smartphone and an app called “Profiler.” Pearce has progressed from juvenile street thug to genius hacker; his hacking and social engineering talents allowed him to make a slew of underworld contacts, while his proclivity for antisocial conduct led him to a slew of illegal activities and con games.
Lena Pearce, his six-year-old niece, died as a result of previous mistakes he made. Aiden then made a promise to defend his remaining family, vowing to use technology and the CTOS to bring those guilty to justice.
Aiden receives a final call from Jordi, who has survived, after the credits have ended. He informs him where Maurice is and that he may do anything he wants with him. Aiden discovers Maurice in a garage and must decide whether to leave him alone or shoot him. As the game comes to a close, additional credits are shown, regardless of the choice Aiden chose.
01. Watch Dogs 2
Why this Ranking:
When you look at the character you play as, Marcus, you’ll see that he has more feeling than Aiden. When watch dogs 2 was released, it was a really big upgrade from first part which made it big success. Then there’s the fact that San Francisco is alive and well, and it seems wonderfully immersive.
The storyline of Watch dogs 2 is unique and immersive. All gamers loved playing new style of twisted gameplay. The new type of hacking abilities brought a joy in the game. But as a comparison, in legion game they didn’t do anything unique and new like second part.
Plot:
San Francisco becomes the first city to deploy the latest iteration of ctOS, which connects all devices into a single system and was built by technology company Blume, three years after the events of Chicago. Hacker Marcus Holloway wishes to join the hacking group DedSec after being penalised for a crime he did not commit through ctOS 2.0. He conducts an initiation test by hacking a Blume server farm to delete his profile from the system.
DedSec determines that the new ctOS has the potential to inadvertently harm innocent citizens throughout the city, so they decide to raise awareness of their goals by conducting a social media campaign to recruit, as well as by exposing corruption and crimes perpetrated through the system, before bringing down Blume.
Kenney becomes a member of DedSec as they continue their war against Blume. After breaking into a large internet company’s server farm, the gang uses the information obtained to track down and expose wrongdoing among a number of high-profile individuals.
DedSec eventually learns about Kenney’s data manipulation software, “Bellwether,” and that Duan aims to affect world economics and politics using both this and a new satellite network built to circumvent underwater data cables, thereby gaining a monopoly over the whole world’s electronic data.
DedSec organises a big effort to expose this and his corruption. DedSec vows to continue their struggle against the firm despite Duan’s arrest for fraud and Blume’s inquiry.
