Witch Craft Works brings a really interesting witch concept anime for fans. With every episode, you get more and more indulged until the end of the season. It’s based on a manga which is written by Ryū Mizunagi and total of 16 volumes released till now.
It was released on 2014 and during it’s starting weeks, witch craft works gained good popularity. With a story revolving around high school life and powerful magic, all fans enjoy every episode.

Witch Craft Works first season came out in 2014 and was an instant success. Everyone loved the magical witch and highschool concept. Despite being a successful anime with full of action and supernatural people. It never got a green flag for season 2 renewal.
But there are many points to consider which indicates that Witch Craft Works season 2 will come. There are total of 16 volumes in the manga and only few volumes fully used in the first season. This means we have a story and plot in manga.

Honoka Takamiya is an ordinary student like everyone who goes to highschool. But his high school life is not normal like others because of a girl named Ayaka Kagari who’s the princess and most beautiful idol of school.
Anyone who sits with Ayaka Kagari gets extremely disliked by the fans of Ayaka in school. By mistake, if someone is going to talk to her even a single second, gets beat up badly. Honoka is the unlucky guy who sits with Ayaka in school and sometimes do class duties together.
Both Honoka and Ayaka starts getting along pretty good with time. One day Honoka as always doing his school duties gets attacked by something mysterious. Ayaka comes for his rescue and reveal her true identity as Workshop Witch. From that day onwards, she always protects him from every kind of dangers.
For a long time, there’s been a war going on between Workshop Witches and Tower Witches. Now that Honoka is caught between this conflict, he tries his best to help Ayaka. It’s a duty of Workshop Witches to protect the normal citizens from the Tower Witches.
Witch Craft Works season 2 will continue from where it left in the ending of first season. Ayaka being fully powerless and Honoka helping her with every tasks. Whatever you saw during season 1 only cover few volumes of manga story.
There’s still a lot of volumes story which is left unused in the manga. We can expect the season 2 of Witch Craft Works to cover all the remaining manga story which can revolve around new problems and enemies which Ayaka and Honoka will face.
If I am getting it correctly, then we can expect Ayaka getting her powers back in season 2. Afterall to fight badass enemies, protagonists always need some superpowers.

If Witch Craft Works season 2 is coming then you can expect all main characters. Other than that many new characters are possible to be introduced.
Honoka Takamiya: Honoka is the second-year student of academy and main protagonist of anime. Being a student council president, he is a bit popular from that side. He is a decent looking young boy with short brown hair. His usual attire seen during anime is the everyday school uniform. He is a very kind hearted guy who always try to protect even with no super powers.
Ayaka Kagari: Ayaka is the adopted daughter of school chairwoman and one of most bright girl in school. She is worshipped as a ideal girl with beautiful looks and high grades. Being one of a member of Workshop Witches, she is one of most powerful in their group. Ayaka is a very gorgeous teenager with long black hair and great body figure.
Kasumi Takamiya: Kasumi is the younger sister of Honoka and one of a member of Workshop Witches. She has dark pink hair with very cool hairstyle. Kasumi gets jealous of everyone who comes near Honoka as she wants big brother to only care for her.
Kazane Kagari: Kazane is the mother of Ayaka and chairwoman of school. She is the leader of Workshop Witches and one of most powerful witches. Her appearance is very unique and stylish. She cares deeply for her daughter’s welfare. She has a very domineering personality.
Touko Hio: Touko is one of Workshop Witches who’s speciality is in ice-based magic. Her powers can be really deadly if she ever gets into big troubles. She was one of good childhood friend of Ayaka.
Many other characters will be included in season 2 of Witch Craft Works.
Is Witch Craft Works season 2 coming anytime soon?
There is no news yet from publishers or anyone for Witch Craft Works season 2 but interesting things to consider is that many manga volumes are unused with a huge story available to use for season 2.
Seeing the fact that manga volumes are available and anime was a good success, there is a 90% chance you can expect for season 2. If things go correct, then fans can expect Witch Craft Works season 2 in 2023.
